Nasser Sadeghi was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1934. He came to the USA in 1957 and gained a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder, in 1963. By 1969 he was working for ‘Associated Design Forum’, an Aspen based practice. The following year he enrolled on the postgraduate course run by the Architectural Association’s Department of Development and Tropical Studies, in London. He was a member of Mario Novella’s seminar group and was duly awarded his AA postgraduate Diploma in 1971. Nasser then returned to the US and resumed his work with Associated Design Forum, where he was to remain until 1974. However, alongside this, he worked as a Visiting Lecturer (1971-72) and then Assistant Professor (1972-73) within the School of Environmental Design at the University of Colorado Boulder. In 1973 he established his own practice, Sadeghi Associates, which appears to have flourished in Aspen and was still registered with the American Institute of Architects in the 2000s.
