Yusuf Faruque Ismail Studied 1971-1972

Yusuf Faruque Ismail is recorded as entering the First Year of the Architectural Association's Diploma course, in London, in 1965. As part of his final Diploma year, in 1971-72 he is noted as taking the option of studying with the Department of Development and Tropical Studies. This year saw the Department transfer from the AA to University College London, where it became the Development Planning Unit, so it is presumed that an agreement was in place to allow Yusuf to study across both institutions. Currently, Ismail is the Principal Director of ‘Systematic Designs Ltd,’ an architectural practice based in North West London, a position which he appears to have held since at least 1998. The UK's Company House register also details that Yusuf has been a Director of Warren Whitfield Ltd. since 2005.
